The Joshua Tree Modern Residence is a fully custom home constructed from the ground up in a remote desert setting. The project emphasized strong architectural lines, natural light, and a direct connection between interior living spaces and the surrounding landscape.
From planning and structural execution to final finishes, the build required careful coordination of materials, systems, and outdoor amenities suited for long-term durability in a high-heat environment.
The home features a modern, single-story layout with flat rooflines and large glazed openings positioned to frame desert views while maximizing daylight.
Structural work was executed to support wide spans and large sliding door systems, allowing interior spaces to open directly to exterior patios without visual interruption.
Interior spaces were built with an open-concept layout connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Finish selections focused on clean lines, natural tones, and materials that complement the desert environment.
